CLIMBING IN GJIPE

DAY 1 - Jale The canyon of Gjipe is is located in the middle of the two well known beaches in southern Riviera, Drymades and Jale. Unlike these two beaches, Gjipe is still unspoiled by modernization. Our guide will wait for you at center Tirana, and after gathering we'll start driving towards Gjipe beach. Be there in about three hours. The scenery is amazing and close by is the beach of Gjipe with small pebble stones and clear water, small caves and a rocky shore. The beach of Gjipe, the second largest beach of the area, is created in a very special way. Once there we'll start camping. One hour free to relax and have a snack. To explore the canyon, drive towards the beach from the National Road (about 20 minutes) to Gjipe Beach and explore the bottom of the canyon from there. The Length of the walk through the Gjipe canyon is 2,5km – stony and rocky path, partially very steep and dangerous Time required 3-5hrs down through the canyon, depending on skills and equipment. Allow at least 1hr for return leg. It’s a very pretty walk with fantastic view of the sea and the south albanian coast. Once we're back, have lunch and relax near the beach. Hope you know to light a fire cause we’re having a little beach party in the evening. DAY 2 - Departure Today we'll have a nice trip along the coastline with kayaks. On our way back we'll stop to relax and ave lunch at Jale beach. After this we will go back to the camp and prepare to go home.
